No. It is not necessary to have a prescription to order a drug test of your choice at US Health Testing.

A panel covers a specific class of drugs. For example a 1-panel will test for one class of drugs and a 5-panel will test for 5 classes of drugs. A typical 5-panel will cover THC, AMP, PCP, COC and OPI. We offer testing panels from a basic 5-panel up to a 16-panel.

The detection time varies based on the type of test performed. A hair test can detect a substance up to 90 days back depending on the length of hair. A saliva test has the shortest detection time and usually can detect a substance up to 48 hours back. A urine test is still the most used method of drug testing. Substances can be detected from 3 days up to 60 days depending on the type of drug that’s tested.

ETG stands for Ethyl Glucuronide and it’s usually tested through a urine sample. The test looks for Ethyl Glucuronide, a byproduct of alcohol in the body. It can detect alcohol use up to 80 hours back and has become the go to for alcohol testing.

There are a few forms of opioids. One form is naturally derived and the other form is synthetically derived. Natural opioids are derived from the seed pod of the opium plant and include Heroin, Opium, Codeine and Morphine. Synthetic opioids are man made opioids and include Oxycodone, Percocet, Fentanyl and Hydro Codeine. Please note that there are different tests for different forms of opioids. Please make sure to select the correct opioid test for the correct class of drugs.

Unfortunately we do not offer testing for individuals who reside outside of the United States at this time.

DOT is the acronym for the Department of Transportation. The DOT has specific rules and testing methods regarding drug and alcohol testing. A DOT drug test is designated for individuals who fall under their guidelines, i.e. Truck drivers, FAA employees, Railroad employees and so on.

The hair drug test requires approximately 90 to 120 strands of hair that has a thickness of a straw. The collector usually collects hair from a few different spots in the crown region of your head. If you have no hair on your head, the collector may opt for your arm, chest, or leg hair.
